Self-Esteem

 

   Your degree of confidence, called self-confidence, is the trust or faith that you have in yourself and your abilities. Self-esteem is the opinion you have of yourself.

   Self-esteem is a term used in psychology to reflect a person's overall evaluation or appraisal of his or her own worth. Self-esteem encompasses beliefs (for example, "I am competent", "I am worthy") and emotions such as triumph, despair, pride and shame.  Self-esteem is an enduring personality characteristic ("trait" self-esteem), though normal, short-term variations ("state" self-esteem) also exist.

   Self-esteem can be greatly improved as it is a state of mind, a perception that you have of yourself.  When the subconscious mind fully understands that we all mistakes, we all deal with difficult people, we have all been criticized, we have all been through difficult situations.  When these perceptions have changed the person is renewed.

   Work with me, we'll first find out why there is a lack of self-esteem, we will find the source of where this originated.  Once this is cleared we will change the perceptions I described above.  If you perceive yourself in a negative way it is very detrimental to your health.  Generally, if you perceive your past, your present, or your future in a overtly negative way you are at high risk of developing emotional, habitual, or physical problems.
