Weight Loss

 

   Huge Problem... no pun intended.  Over 60 percent of U.S. adult women are overweight, according to 2007 estimates from the National Center for Health Statistics of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Just over one-third of overweight adult women are obese.

Being overweight or obese can increase your risk of:

• Heart disease
• Stroke
• Type 2 diabetes
• High blood pressure
• Breathing problems
• Arthritis
• Gallbladder disease
• Some kinds of cancer


   Obese individuals have a 50-100 percent increased risk of death from all causes, compared with normal-weight individuals (body mass index 20–25). Most of the increased risk is due to cardiovascular causes.

 



   I am an expert when it comes to helping people get down to their goal weight, and staying there.  About half of all of the sessions that I conduct are weight loss sessions.  I have been trained by a 20 year expert in weight loss hypnotherapy/NLP, doctor Wil Horton.  I have also received training from hypnotherapist Tom Nicoli who was on the Dateline NBC Ultimate Weight Loss Challenge.  This with a combination of years of experience and training qualifies me to help you regain your health and wellness.

   No willpower is required when you work through this process with me.  That is NOT a sales pitch, it really isn't.  Behavior is driven by emotion.  Find and clear away the emotion that is force feeding you and you no longer need to distract or comfort yourself with food!  (There is too much on that topic to get into here, call and we can discuss.)

   This is not a diet.  This is not a short term program, it's not ending next month.  This is a change, a life change.  A positive change.  It is a change in how you feel about you.  It is a change in how you view food.  It is a launching point in your life, a break away point.  There is a new destination, it's called success.  Thin, healthy, tone, much more energy, all good things.

 


My 3 Approaches for Health / Weight Loss


 

1- For the person who has to change a very specific eating habit(s).
 
This approach is for the person who has a few specific habits, urges, and wants to completely clear this behavior from their life.  Typically people who have this problem are only a little overweight or just have bad habits.
 
 
2 - For the person who has, in the past, tried diet & exercise programs without perm-
     anent success and is still struggling.
 

Here we do #1 above but much more.  Initially we set your mind for success, your goal achieving subconscious mind, a very exact size and weight that you will reach.

We find and change all of your food associations... food does not equal love or comfort!  Food = Fuel, nothing more.

We discover the exact cause - why have you become overweight?  Why has the weight stayed on?  This is emotionally based, we clear away the offending emotion and perception.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!  With this accomplished you will never become overweight again.  No more yo-yo dieting, that's finally freaking behind you!

Self-esteem, self-love, and self-respect.  How does your subconscious mind feel about you?  Do you deserve happiness, love, and health?  Most people feel like they don't - that is why we fail at losing the weight and/or keeping it off.  (If you love & respect something you take care of it!)  Here we also clear away everyone who has ever hurt you, this process frees you from past pain.

Exercise... Do you hate it, love it, can't get to it, unmotivated?  We change this, if you don't move it you're going to lose it.  (I had a woman who didn't like to sweat.  Well why?  We discovered the cause and got her working out!)

And finally we reprogram your mind.  Eating the right amount of food, drinking water, the 3 bite rule... IN THE WORLD OF HYPNOTHERAPY, THIS IS WHERE ALMOST ALL OTHER THERAPISTS START!  THIS IS ALL THEY DO!!  That's a big mistake.  Without finding and clearing away the bad programming and emotions you'd fail at weight loss again.  Not here.  Work with me, follow the program and you will lose the weight and never gain it back again.

 
 
3 - For the person who must lose a lot of weight... now!  (extremely obese)
 

There is a newer therapy called Gastric Band hypnotherapy or hypnoband.  This simulates actually having gastric band surgery, it does exactly the same thing only without you ever having to go under the knife.

Your subconscious mind does not discern between what is real or imagined, therefore we can compound the idea that you are actually going through surgery.  Afterwards you will not be able to eat much at all because your stomach is the size of a tennis ball.

I will NOT just do this as other therapists do!  That would be a grand disservice to you.  I have had several people come to me in the past after having real gastric band surgery who have gained a lot of the weight back and/or cannot control their eating.  Before proceeding to this step we would complete step #2 above so you will never become overweight again.

 


You will get that weight off and keep it off!
